Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation (SOAFI) Awards Over 180 Scholarships
Totaling More Than $830,000 at Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony
West Palm Beach, FL – The Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation (SOAFI) proudly announced the awarding of over 180 scholarships totaling more than $830,000 to students from Dreyfoos School of the Arts (DSOA) during its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, held Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Meyer Hall.
Through the generous support of SOAFI donors, scholarships were presented to both graduating seniors and underclassmen. These funds will support students’ continuing education at prestigious institutions across the country as well as summer institutes that nurture their artistic and academic growth.
DSOA Principal Blake Bennett expressed her gratitude, stating, “Thank you to our donors, sponsors, our Foundation, and anyone who has supported our amazing, talented students.” She also praised the recipients for their achievements. SOAFI Major Gifts Officer John Richards presented the scholarships, and students shared heartfelt thanks to the donors, many of whom attended the ceremony.
Dr. Chris Snyder, CEO of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, concluded the event with an inspiring message:
“Remember that this is just the beginning. This scholarship isn’t the destination, it’s a small launch pad. A reminder that anything you can imagine, you can accomplish. The Dreyfoos Magic is real, and it lives in you. Your creativity, your voice, your courage they have power. Use them. You are our future!”
These scholarships enable Dreyfoos students to attend prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, NYU, Juilliard, Columbia, Duke, UCLA, the University of Florida, Florida State University, the University of Miami, SCAD, RISD, SAIC, Pratt Institute, CalArts, MassArt, and many others. This financial support eases the burden of tuition and empowers students to pursue their educational dreams with confidence.
