Dr. Christopher J. Snyder is a seasoned business development and nonprofit executive with a passion for driving meaningful change. With over a decade of experience in fundraising, marketing, project management, and nonprofit leadership, he currently serves as CEO of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, where he leads efforts to advance arts education for one of the nation’s top public arts schools.
Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, Snyder began his career in banking and finance, serving as a credit and branch manager across the Chicagoland area. He later transitioned into sports marketing, where he contributed to the successful launch of the Fort Wayne TinCaps and held corporate partnership roles with the Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals, and BB&T Center.
Building on his diverse background, Snyder pivoted to the nonprofit sector, where he has held senior development and leadership positions at the American Cancer Society, the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, and American Friends of Magen David Adom.
Snyder holds a BSBA in Sports Management, an MBA in Marketing and Management, and a Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Indiana Tech. His doctoral research focused on philanthropic perceptions of millennial global leaders.
Known for building high-performing teams and raising millions in philanthropic support, Snyder is also a frequent speaker, mentor, and board leader, including his service as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Palm Beach County Chapter.
