Dr. Christopher J. Snyder is an accredited Business Development professional whose underlying mission is to instill positive change on a societal level. He has an extensive 10+ years background involving nonprofit business development, marketing, project management, and fundraising.
Born and raised in Boca Raton, FL, Snyder has cultivated a strong history of experiences, qualifications, and specializations throughout his career that has manifested him into a master in all realms of development. Prior to his current Executive Director position at Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, Snyder earned a BSBA in Business Administration with a focus in Sports Management, an MBA in Marketing and Management, and obtained his Ph.D. in Global Leadership, all from the Indiana Institute of Technology.
Snyder began his career in banking and finance, managing financial centers with Wells Fargo and Washington Mutual. In 2008, he pivoted careers and tapped into sales and marketing, where he assisted in launching a new minor league baseball team in Ft Wayne called the Fort Wayne TinCaps. From there, Snyder worked as Corporate Partnership Manager at Roger Dean Stadium with the Miami Marlins and St Louis Cardinals. After 6+ years in baseball, Snyder became a Director of Partnership Marketing at the BB&T Center and later left to enter the nonprofit world. Thus far, Snyder has held roles within the American Cancer Society, Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, American Friends of Magen David Adom, and is now at Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation.
As a passionate professional, Snyder takes pride in pioneering valuable societal transformations through his foundational efforts. He has a true ardency for his career and demonstrates that through his continuous strive to improve his community and provide Dreyfoos School of the Arts students the advanced arts education they deserve.
During his downtime, he enjoys traveling, painting, cooking, playing baseball, golfing, and spending time with his friends, family, wife Danielle, and their two boys, Nicholas and Luke.
