More than five-hundred supporters of the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts dressed in white and brought over-the-top table décor with them as they traveled to Meyer Amphitheatre on October 21, 2017 for the 5th annual Dreyfoos in White pop-up dinner. The secret location was kept under wraps until one hour before the event, with ticket holders notified of the location by email and social media.

Organized largely by Dreyfoos School of the Arts alumni and their friends, this incredible event benefitted the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation. Highlights of the evening included music played by Dreyfoos students and alumni and a piece performed by Dreyfoos dance students. Dinner ended with everyone lighting the night with sparklers, signaling the start of dancing to the music of Dreyfoos alumni DJ Brad Barfield.
