In Memory of Jennifer Mercier-Conrad Memorial Fund
Established In loving memory of Jennifer Mercier-Conrad Memorial Fund
In loving memory of Jennifer Mercier-Conrad (1967-2024), whose life was centered around the
arts. Jen began her career as a Professional Ballerina with Ballet Florida, and later transitioned to
the role of company Wardrobe Mistress. Few years down the road, she also fulfilled the role of
Wardrobe Mistress with Miami City Ballet. Her experience with the arts went beyond her years
with Ballet Florida and Miami City Ballet, she was also a member of IATSE Local 500. Jen had
two daughters, Katherine and Megan, and immersed them in the arts since birth. Katherine, class
of 2016, was in the strings and dance department. Megan, class of 2018, was also in the strings
department. Both daughters played the Viola while also dancing outside of school at a local
dance studio, Florida Dance Conservatory. Before, during, and after Katherine and Megan
attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Jen was always a helping hand for the dance and music
departments. When she volunteered, she became a familiar face to students, always giving words
of encouragement and providing a sense of support. Jennifer touched many lives in the arts
world, and we want her legacy in the arts to continue on and inspire younger generations to
pursue their dreams.
