Director of Community Development
Marna Barany just joined the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation as the new Director of Community Development. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Minor in Sociology and Certificate of Criminology at Rutgers University. She has worked in nonprofits for 10 years in the Washington, DC area in member engagement before moving back to Florida where she grew up, and for the last 3 years as the Manager of Volunteer Services at the Naples Senior Center. Marna has worked closely with boards, committees, volunteers, and donors to successfully fulfill each organization’s mission.
Marna helped start the young Jewish professionals group at The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples and has volunteered with various chapters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In her free time, Marna enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and going to concerts. She just moved to the West Palm Beach area from Naples, FL and is looking forward to bringing her event management and relationship building experience to the Dreyfoos team, exploring her more creative side, and getting to know this community to help Dreyfoos fulfill its goals.
